Overview
**Description**
The Executive Director of Strategic Contracts is a strategic yet hands-on leader responsible for the design and implementation of a high performing analytics and informatics including strategic vendor relationships. The primary focus will be the measurement performance of our strategic vendor partnership in hospital and physician billing and will also include expansion of our data capabilities, leveraging of advanced analytical techniques to support Revenue Cycle Operations including the monitoring performance against service line agreements (SLA) and highlight gaps in performance and key successes.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Develop and implement leadership structure to deliver the following:
+ Data Management: expand revenue cycle data capabilities in acute care, physician services, ambulatory care, and other lines of business.
+ Data Visualization: partner with Data & Analytics to develop strategy for development and implementation of Tableau/Power BI based dashboards that encompasses key performance indicator presentation, integration of ML/AI based insights, what-if modeling, and at-a-glance views of operational areas that need further attention.
+ Performance Management: develop strategy for effective monitoring of strategic vendor against contracted SLAs. Exec The Exec Dir will design and implement the optimal information exchange between the vendors. and the system and regional revenue cycle executive partners that identifies the underlying drivers related to the aforementioned key metrics.
+ Future analyst roles will include development of data extracts to support vendor file extract requests and other data downloads.
+ Implement effective invoice validation process including a prediction model for upcoming invoices through validation of received invoices.
+ Lead the creation of data-driven approaches for the purpose of generating business insights through data analytics, information visualization, and addressing unanswered business issues in a proactive manner.
+ Collaborate with functional leaders to develop a culture of data driven continuous improvement, measure value of operational initiatives, and provide projections. Will work closely with the Rev Cycle Advanced Analytics leader.
+ Attract, develop, and retain key talent while achieving a high level of morale. Build a high- performing and highly accountable management team that works collaboratively to achieve business objectives.
+ Champion an environment of professionalism and service excellence that is inclusive and diverse. Accountable for caregiver’s career growth, leadership development, job satisfaction, and engagement.
+ Represent PSJH by membership in professional associations.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related area of study or equivalent experience
+ Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related area of study (Preferred)
+ 10 or more years in deep knowledge of data systems and revenue cycle data architecture; Epic specific and revenue cycle specific knowledge a plus
+ 5 or more years in leadership experience in a matrixed, multi-facility healthcare system
+ Successful track record driving customer experience either within an industry going through digital or service transformation and/or within a matrixed, multi-facility healthcare system.
+ Ability to understand data systems and underlying technology supporting customer service and/or revenue cycle.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
