Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Analyst (FP&A)

Georgia (Hybrid-Remote with once-a-month meetings in Atlanta)

ARC Group is currently seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Analyst (FP&A) for a permanent position with a Fortune 500 company in the Medical/Health Industry. This role offers great benefits and requires residency in the State of Georgia on the first day of employment. Please note that this position is remote, with monthly in-person meetings in Atlanta, GA.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Practice self-leadership and promote learning by building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, providing advice, and influencing team members.
  • Conduct or oversee business-specific projects, ensuring adherence to procedures and policies, and solving complex problems.
  • Evaluate the business environment through financial assessments and interpret and communicate findings.
  • Lead internal audit processes, review audit results, and engage with auditors to implement changes to internal controls.
  • Create budgets and forecasts in alignment with strategic initiatives and make recommendations based on budgeting trends.
  • Advise region/business unit leaders on strategic fiscal matters by developing reports and acting as an internal consultant.
  • Conduct complex financial modeling and evaluate the financial impact of strategies and initiatives.
  • Complete costing activities and evaluate performance/operations/financial state by recommending improvements.
  • Report region/business unit financial information and support field operations by analyzing performance and recommending areas of improvement.
  • Lead Financial Statement Analysis of business partners and improve financial performance by analyzing trends and implementing enhancements.
  • Inform strategic financial planning and drive strategic financial planning by preparing and analyzing recommendations.


Requirements:

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field and minimum eight (8) years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience, or directly related business experience.


Preferred:

  • Four (4) years of experience working with advanced functions of spreadsheet software.
  • Three (3) years of FP&A experience in the healthcare industry and developing business cases.
  • Three (3) years of experience working with advanced SQL and/or SAS coding.
  • Three (3) years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership.
