Position: Finish Carpenter
Branch: LEAD Pacific Northwest
Location: Bellevue, WA
Type: Permanent
Pay: 33-40 per hour, Depending on Experience
We are looking for skilled Finish/Trim Carpenters to join our team and contribute to various construction projects.
Responsibilities:
-Ability to Doors, Frames, Hardware, Case, Base, MDF Shiplap and Misc. Specialty Installations.
– Commercial and Residential ability.
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project specifications
– Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials according to project needs
– Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames
– Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
– Inspect and repair damaged framework or structures
– Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
– Collaborate with other construction workers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met
– Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
– Manage and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition
– Follow all local building codes and regulations
Requirements:
– At least 5 years of proven experience as a Finish Carpenter
– Proficient in using hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machinery
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
– Strong knowledge of building materials and construction methods
– Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
– Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Good communication and time management skills
– High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus
– Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
