Position: Finish GPS Dozer Operator
LEAD Southeast National
Location: Ruskin, FL
7AM to 530PM M-F
$23-24 Per Hour
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finish GPS Dozer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GPS technology and its application in earthwork operations. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, performing grading and excavation tasks, and ensuring project deadlines are met.
**Responsibilities:**
* Operate GPS-equipped dozers to perform grading, excavation, and other earthwork operations
* Utilize GPS technology to ensure accurate grading and minimize rework
* Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
* Plan and execute work schedules, ensuring project deadlines are met
* Coordinate with other team members and subcontractors
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
**Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 3+ years of experience as a Finish GPS Dozer Operator
* Excellent proficiency in operating GPS-equipped dozers
* Strong understanding of GPS technology and its application in earthwork
* Ability to interpret grading plans and specifications
* Experience with heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physically fit and able to perform strenuous physical activity
