**Description**

**Providence is calling two part-time Graduate Student Interns in the Portland-Metro area for this hybrid role.**

As a Graduate Student Intern at ProvidenceReady, your role will be pivotal in promoting healthcare career exploration in Oregon, and across the Providence system. You would provide support to the Career Exploration team in organizing talent cultivation events, experiences, and development on a systemwide level including building out resources for career seekers and other Talent Cultivation programs. Your work would impact opportunities for Providence professionals to engage with career seekers, spanning from high school students to adults as well as ultimately supporting their journey toward successful careers.

We have made special arrangements with Human Resources to pay $25 an hour for this role.

This position would include responsibilities such as event planning, scheduling guests, supporting research, tracking program data and outcomes, and expanding student engagement by connecting them with career exploration opportunities and services to strengthen the healthcare talent pipeline.

**Required qualifications:**

+ Coursework/Training and High School Diploma or GED within 3 months of hire

**Preferred Skills and Education:**

+ Current graduate student or recent graduate (within the last 6 months)

+ Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

+ Experience in community oureach research, data analysis, and event planning

+ Creativity, open-mindedness, and attention to detail

+ Willingness to learn

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
