*_Position Summary:_*
The HIM Analyst position promotes charge capture accuracy and proactive management of the charge description master (CDM), requiring full understanding of the revenue management function. Ensures that the CDM is accurate and in compliance with state and federal regulations for billing, coding, and charge methodology. Coordinates and leads the charge master review processes, maintains the integrity of the charge master by conducting periodic review, works with the directors/managers to identify need for charge master revisions. Ensures all ED charges are entered daily and correctly.

*_Minimum Education_*
* High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
* Associate’s degree is preferred.
* 1-3 years’ experience in a healthcare business/medical office.
* Certification as a Revenue Integrity Professional or some other certification in the medical field is preferred. If candidate does not have this at hire, will be given one year to obtain that certification.
* Experience and working knowledge of the various payer types, including Self Pay, Commercial, Workman’s Compensation, Medicare and Medicaid.
* Working knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
