HTML Developer/ Email Marketing Specialist
Miami, FL (Remote/Hybrid Available)
ARC Group is currently looking for an HTML Developer/ Emailing Marketing Specialist to join our client which is a Fortune 500 company in the hospitality industry. Our client is growing and looking for a candidate that can join their team. This department supports the company’s pre-cruise email-program.
Please note, this opportunity is preferred to be on-site/hybrid but can be remote. Please do not apply if you will need sponsorship now (or in the future) OR a C2C (bench/3rd Party) recruiter. Although this role is initially a contract position, it does have the ability to be extended or brought on to permanent status with our client.
Job Description- The HTML Developer/ Email Marketing Specialist
This position must possess functional knowledge of HTML coding, email service provider tools such as Mailchimp, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud and must be somehow familiar with graphics editing software i.e., Creative Suite, especially Photoshop. Key responsibilities include developing and testing email deployment via QA tools and making sure content such as translations and offer lockups (when applicable) are accurate. This role must be dependable and work well in timeline-driven projects.
- Partner with multiple departments to project manage a body of work aligned with the company’s business goals including but not limited to; promotions and e-mail communications.
- Work cross-functionally with Onboard Revenue and Information Technology partners, vendors, and other teams to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Work alongside key stakeholders in international markets, North America (NA) marketing, and revenue management teams to produce dynamic and personalized offers relevant to booked guests.
- Consolidate, communicate, and manage all issues and risks affecting the project. Communicate project status to project participants and stakeholders accurately and on time.
- Work with agency partners for creative assets, copy requests, and language translations and ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to analyze program performance metrics and to report on activities and KPIs.
- Partner with all Integrated Marketing groups to ensure holistic execution, alignment with full consumer journey, consistent and optimized brand communications, and experiences.
- Manage any ad-hoc requests from the business for international guests.
What are the Requirements of the HTML Developer/ Email Marketing Specialist?
- Four or more years of related experience in HTML development and Email Marketing
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent, directly related experience.
- A working knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS. Proficient in responsive email design.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a huge plus.
- Experience with JIRA is required
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience editing and resizing images and content assets in Photoshop.
- Strong project management, detail-oriented, with excellent communication, and interpersonal skills required.
- Familiarity with a variety of online marketing concepts, best practices and procedures.
- Industry knowledge is a plus: passionate about the cruise/travel industry, eCommerce, and CRM.
