Marketers on Demand is looking to recruit an experienced HR Resource Partner for a great client of ours in the GTA. This role is a contract position that puts you in the drivers seat to implement HR strategies that range from HR policies, staffing and recruiting, employee resolutions, supporting senior management and handling special projects. This is a 7 month contract (to start) with a competitive salary and the chance to partner with an industry leader.Â

Roles and responsibilities:Â
Â
–Â Support the prompt resolution of employee relations issues for employees and recommend proactive measures to minimize related mattersÂ
Â
–Â Providing proactive outreach and support to people managers on HR policy interpretation, coaching, educating employee population, program related issues including performance management, performance improvement plans, compensation queries, etc.Â
Â
–Â Conducts voluntary exit meetings, gathers information and ensures exit procedures are followed
Â
–Â Delivers and provides support for HR programs, activities, policies, procedures and compliance including: Employee Relations, Employee Onboarding, Leave of Absence coordination, Template and Documentation Harmonization and support, system inquiries and support, creation/maintenance of documentation internally
Â
–Â Supports the team as needed with the day-to-day compliance of policies and queries related to legal cases and investigationsÂ
Â
Qualifications:Â
Â
– 5+ years of HR experience in a corporate environment
–Â Knowledge of employment standards and human rights legislation for Canada and USA
– Strong verbal and written communicationÂ
– Proficient with MS OfficeÂ
– CHRP designation would be an assetÂ
Â
Please note, this is a hybrid position that requires you to be on-site twice a week.Â
