Overview

The Technical Support Analyst I serves as the first point of contact for the coordination, implementation, support, and maintenance for all employed Physician Practices but also assists with all other hospital information technology systems as necessary.

*Essential Functions*

Responsible for the installation, upgrade, maintenance and support of all computer-related hardware and software systems utilized throughout the hospital.

Supports end users regarding PC’s and software applications by assisting with trouble-shooting problems and assisting with end user education.

Maintains, services, supports LAN/WAN operations.

Responsible for software licenses tracking and compliance.

Coordinates and ensures timely maintenance and repair of all computer equipment.

Assists with user provisioning and access issues and timely terminations.

Assists with answering help desk calls and work order systems.

Performs Data Processing functions as assigned.

Provides after-hours on call support as required.

Works with Customer Support vendors as needed to ensure issue(s) resolution.

*Minimum Education*
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CompTIA A and/or Network preferred.

*Required Skills*
Must possess the ability to work well with others. Pays close attention to detail. Requires good problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Well organized and self-motivated with project management ability. Most duties are performed independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
