IDR is seeking a Information Security Policy Lead to join one of our top government clients. Please note, this role is hybrid and a contract position. Candidates must live in the Nashville, TN area. Job Responsibilities for the Information Security Policy Lead:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining security and control policy and procedures for internal IT operations
- Coordinating and performing daily activities for security and access monitoring in Azure and other State systems
- Hands-on experience in analyzing network data, logs, and other attack artifacts
- Assisting in developing, evaluating, and supporting the TN District Technology Cybersecurity Improvement program
- Participating in incident response planning and activities
- Assisting in vendor contract reviews for IT controls and cybersecurity policy
- Team lead for daily scrum and activity management
- Training internal and external technology teams on cybersecurity methods and best practices
Requirements for the Information Security Policy Lead:
- A bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum five years’ experience in the information security field
- Experience creating information security standards and best practices
- Experience in Microsoft Azure administration
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience with security application tools and services
- Experience in working with AICPA’s Trust Services Criteria
- Preference given to candidates with CISP or other industry certifications
- Experience with developing gap analysis and reporting
