Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional for the role of Web Content Editor and SEO Optimizer. In this dynamic position, your primary focus will be on managing and enhancing the online presence of our website through WordPress.The role involves making CMS edits based on keyword research to enhance website performance. The ideal candidate should have strong editorial skills and a solid understanding of SEO principles. Proficiency in WordPress preferred

**Internship Details:**

+ Internship will begin May 20th, 2024

+ Internship willl be located in the Conway, AR office

+ 20-29 hours mininum during regular semesters and up to 40 hours during summer and school breaks

**Key Responsibilities:**

Content Management:

+ Utilize your proficiency in WordPress to make content updates, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and adherence to the brand voice.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and implement content requirements, keeping the website up-to-date with the latest information.

SEO Optimization:

+ Implement on-page SEO strategies, including optimizing meta titles, descriptions, and content.

+ Collaborate with the marketing team to align content strategies with overall SEO goals.

Performance Monitoring:

+ Regularly analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and provide insights to enhance user experience.

+ Stay informed about industry trends and search engine algorithm updates to proactively adjust strategies and maintain optimal website performance.

Quality Assurance:

+ Conduct regular audits to ensure content accuracy, consistency, and compliance with SEO best practices.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to website content and SEO elements.

Collaboration and Communication:

+ Work closely with content creators, designers, and developers to implement SEO best practices in all aspects of website development.

+ Communicate effectively with internal teams to align content updates with overall business objectives.

**Qualifications:**

+ Pusuring a degree in Marketing or relevant degree program

**Proven experience with WordPress content management and a strong understanding of SEO principles.**

+ Excellent editorial skills with a keen eye for detail and consistency.

+ Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Yoast, or similar SEO plugins.

+ Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

+ Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving industry trends and search engine algorithms.
