The*IT Analyst*identifies opportunities for business process improvements using information technologies.
*Essential Functions: *
* Analyzes business processes and data to identify opportunities to automate and/or improve existing processes using information technology.
* Performs market and industry research to support conclusions and recommendations. Develops and provides recommendations regarding business process/performance improvements.
* Serves as a consultant to management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
* Serves as key customer contact for inquiries and resolution of customer issues.
* Identifies and assists in the resolution of issues in the financial/administrative modules. Keeps supervisor informed of all events affecting these modules.
* Documents, tracks and follows up on all reported problems, enhancement requests and system change requests for the clinical modules.
* Tests or oversees the testing of all software updates/new releases for the clinical modules.
* Participates in the after-hours call rotation system.
* Assists in access management to enter new hires, make changes to current employees, and process terminations in a timely manner.
*Minimum Education*
* Associate’s degree required.
*Required Skills*
* Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
*Minimum Work Experience*
* 3-5 years
