_POSITION SUMMARY:
_
The Technical Support Analyst assumes primary responsibility for coordination, implementation, support, and maintenance for all hospital information technology systems.
_ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:_
· Responsible for the installation, upgrade, maintenance and support of all computer-related hardware and software systems utilized throughout the hospital.
· Analyzing existing computer systems and making recommendations for upgrades and improvements and make recommendations for new systems.
· Implement safety procedures and data recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
· Ensuring all installations, maintenance, and upgrades are carried out on schedule.
· Supports end users regarding PC’s and software applications by assisting with troubleshooting problems and assisting with end user education.
· Maintains, services, supports LAN/WAN network operations, familiarity with Cisco networking equipment and a working knowledge of information security systems.
· Experience managing and maintaining Windows servers in both VMWare and physical environments.
· Manage and implement IT systems for all new and existing physician practices.
· Install and configure computer networks and systems, identify, and solve any technical issues, assemble new systems, and research and develop budgets for new equipment.
· Provide data limited data cabling services; knowledge of ethernet cabling standards required.
· Serves as secondary FISO; ensures appropriate provisioning and deprovisioning for end users.
· Performs Data Processing functions as assigned.
· Provides after-hours on call support as required.

II. Education/Experience:Degree in Information Technology or related field. IT related technical training may be considered in combination with minimum 2 years relevant IT experience. CompTIA A and/or Network preferred.
III. Special Qualifications: Must possess the ability to work well with others. Pays close attention to detail. Requires good problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Well organized and self-motivated with project management ability. Most duties are performed independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
IV. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; to reach with hands and arms; and to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific visions abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

V. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
