Hours scheduled between 7:00am – 5:00pm; every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation. Hospital and nursing home blood draws, plus reception desk duties as needed.

**Job Summary**
Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. Additional duties include learning the receptions desk duties to help cover in absence or vacation of regular staff, covering in hospital as needed and training in the nursing homes to cover sick call and vacation time for regular nursing home phlebotomist. Light cleaning and stocking is required.
**Qualifications**
High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
