Lab SPVR (Heme, Coag, MicrBio)

Overview

Supervises as required regarding daily staff activities for an assigned area or function in microbiology, hematology and coagulation. Reports directly to the Director of Lab and supports all aspects of Lab operations.

*Minimum Education*
Required graduate of a Program in Laboratory discipline for the State of Tennessee role
Has qualified for a Supervisor status for the State of Tennessee.
Is a graduate of a state recognized Microbiology program.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment if not current upon hire.
