Overview
**Description**
Under the leadership of the Department Manager and the supervision of the Department Supervisor, the Lead Technologist will perform required department tasks as well as assume the responsibility for the overall, day to day functioning of the department. The Lead Technologist may be responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels, evaluating additions and deletions of product from inventory, performing yearly inventory reconciliation, purchasing supplies, helping write procedures and protocols, overseeing the daily work flow, assist in the development and implementation of Performance Improvement issues, develop and implementation of ongoing education/in-service program.
Individualizes patient care using age related concepts based on the unit population assigned for neonates (0-1 month) infants (1 month to age 1) toddlers (1-2 years), preschoolers (3-5 years), school age (6-12 years) of adolescents (ages 13-17) and adult patients including early adult (ages 18-35) middle adult (ages 36-65) and older adult (ages 66+) by applying age related concepts….including knowledge of growth and development, safety needs, collection and interpretation of data, treatments and care typically required and participating in the evaluation of care. Utilizes age related concepts when communicating with patients and families, administering medications, using medical equipment, participating in diagnostic or other procedures and when teaching patients/families.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology
+ 2 years relatable experience
