Overview
As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable
scope and standards of practice.
Reports to: Dept Director
FLSA: Non-exempt
Minimum Education:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
* Two years of College or a nursing diploma from an approved nursing program is required.
* A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire or the class must be successfully passed during the first week of orientation.
Required Licenses:
* Licensed Practical Nurse- A LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license is required for this position.
Required Skills:
* Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
