Overview
Responsible for conducting mental health assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, leading individual/group therapy sessions and making treatment referrals under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Additionally, provides brief and crisis interventions as needed under the supervision of a LPC.
Minimum EducationMaster’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Human Services from an accredited university.
Minimum Work ExperienceAt least five years experience working in the Mental Health Field preferred.

Must be a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Kentucky.

Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work within the required supervision parameters established by the Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtained within 90 days after hire date.
