Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front End Loader Operator to join our team. As a Front End Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to load and transport materials, such as dirt, rocks, and debris, at construction sites or other locations. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials to support our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
– Operate and maintain front end loaders in a safe and efficient manner
– Load and transport materials, such as dirt, rocks, and debris, using front end loaders
– Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
– Follow safety procedures and wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
– Communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate loading and transportation activities
– Follow project plans and instructions to ensure materials are loaded and transported to the correct locations
– Maintain accurate records of materials loaded and transported
– Monitor equipment for any malfunctions and report any issues to the supervisor
– Keep work area clean and organized
– Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Minimum of 2 years of experience operating front end loaders
– Valid driver's license and clean driving record
– Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair
– Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
– Ability to operate in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
– Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
– Good communication and teamwork skills
– Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
Physical Requirements:
– Must be able to sit, stand, and operate equipment for extended periods of time
– Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
– Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold
– Must have good vision and depth perception to operate equipment safely
