Overview
Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Within scope of practice, under the supervisor of the RN, the LPN Scrub Nurse will provide direct patient care to patients in the Women’s Services area. Performs assigned Unit Secretary and Nurse Tech and other duties as assigned within the Women’s Services area.

Graduate of a Program in Discipline (LPN) – Required

BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required to be current upon hire.

State of Tennessee or Multi-State LPN licensure – Required. Proof of certification in IV therapy as mandated by the State of TN (ref: Chapter 1000-02 – .15 LPN Scope of Practice) – Preferred
