Overview
**Description**
Under general supervision, is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of an assigned area of responsibility, Security and Parking Division of the Security Department, ensuring implementation and compliance with all departmental and Covenant Health campus policies and procedures. Responsible for the continued education and training of veteran personnel including the initial training of new personnel. Collaborate with other Supervisors to maintain an aggressive approach to progressive training. Provides the leadership necessary to generate teamwork among personnel in order to successfully fulfill the department’s mission. Assist the Vice-President or Director with long range planning and goal setting for the department. Assist with the development of departmental policies/procedures and provide input in operational issues.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or Related education/experience.
+ Coursework/Training: Additional training/education in order to acquire a working knowledge of business English and basic record keeping procedures.
+ Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
+ 2 years of experience as a Supervisor for the Covenant Health Security or Parking, or
+ 5 years of experience with Security, Law Enforcement or Military Police preferably within a hospital or campus environment.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Master’s Degree from an accredited University.
+ Coursework/Training: Documented customer service training.
+ Have a documented customer service experience.
+ 5 years Security, Law Enforcement, or Military Police experience, preferably within a hospital or campus environment.
