Summary:
LEAD Technical is currently looking for a Manual Machinist for our manufacturing client in the Melbourne area. In this role, you will perform manual milling, creating various parts for multiple builds. This is a CONTRACT-TO-HIRE role that is available immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Create parts for various products using drawings and specifications.
- Utilize Bridgeport Milling machine to manually create parts to tight tolerances primarily utilizing steel.
- Work from part lists independently creating necessary materials to ensure production moves smoothly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in machining, specifically milling.
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- High level of comfort with and demonstrated ability to perform manual milling.
- Experience with the daily production of multiple one off parts to spec.
- Experience with Bridgeport milling machine preferred but not required.
