Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Material Handler to support our warehouse operations. This role involves managing inventory, handling materials, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management and a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Receive and Inspect Shipments: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Material Handling: Safely move materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment as necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory, including conducting regular cycle counts and stock checks.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment according to company standards, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following Good Housekeeping practices and safety protocols.

Must-Have Skills and Experience:

  • Material Handling Experience: Proven experience in handling and moving materials within a warehouse environment, including the use of forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Inventory Management: Strong background in managing inventory, including cycle counts and stock organization.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately inspect shipments and ensure materials are properly handled and stored.
  • Safety Compliance: Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, supporting coworkers and following supervisory direction.
