Responsible for daily shipping/receiving duties and delivering of stock and non-stock supplies and equipment throughout the facility.
Responsible for stocking the medication rooms in Medical Surgical and Emergency Room departments as well as the Anesthesia work room in the Surgery Department.
Responsible for posting charges and reconciling charges daily, using multiple databases.
Cycle counts the general stores to verify quantities and expiration dates monthly.
Handles information requests, including reviewing files and records, answering inquiries, and responding to incoming work requests.
Ensure that clinical crash carts are restocked and put back in cycle daily, or as necessary.
Works with departments and Directors to problem solve ordering issues, acts as courier for the facility as necessary.
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Licenses
Clean, current NM Driver’s Licensure and appropriate insurance as per the facility’s driver’s agreement.
