ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs electrical systems, machinery, and equipment as scheduled or needed.
Performs utility, structural, and grounds repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.
Inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire/safety-related equipment and systems, electrical systems, communications systems, HVAC systems, and others.
Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage. Operates power equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent Required
Required SkillsLicense:Journeyman Electrician license RequiredMaster Electrician license Preferred
Completion of a four year federally approved technical training program in electrical repair and maintenance; OR, An equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
