Summary:
We are currently looking for a Mechanical Drafter to work for an industry leading manufacturer in Port Orange, FL. In this role, you will be supporting the engineering team, providing drafting and other areas of assistance as requested. This is a CONTRACT-TO-HIRE role that is available immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Using computer aided design, develop drawings, models and assembly instructions according to specifications to support engineering and manufacturing requirements
- Work to develop bills of materials, specification sheets, and production orders.
- Create drawings for both prototype and production components.
- Perform engineering change requests and provide change notices
- Continuously look for ways to design and implement
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in mechanical drafting or 2 years equivalent work experience with CAD
- Experience with AutoCAD and Solidworks
- Comfort with GD&T
