Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator

Position Overview

This company is seeking a Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator to join their team in Rancho Mirage, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the medical staff credentialing process and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies. This is a 3-month contract position with strong potential for extension.

Required Skills for the Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator

  • CPCS or CPMSM National certification
  • Minimum 5 years in a hospital medical staff office performing duties representative of this position
  • College level courses, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years in a hospital medical staff office performing duties representative of this position or equivalent position related to healthcare or other professional organization

Responsibilities

  • Manage the medical staff credentialing process
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Coordinate with medical staff and hospital departments to obtain required documentation
  • Maintain accurate and complete credentialing files
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • CPCS or CPMSM National certification
  • Minimum 5 years in a hospital medical staff office performing duties representative of this position
  • College level courses, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years in a hospital medical staff office performing duties representative of this position or equivalent position related to healthcare or other professional organization

Compensation details: $33/hour
