Overview
Provides direct and indirect patient care within scope of practice under the direction of the RN/LPN.
Minimum EducationHigh school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Minimum Work ExperienceOne year experience as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
Required SkillsLicenses and or Certifications: Current Kentucky CNA certification with current listing on the Kentucky Board of Nursing Nurse Aide Registry required OR obtained within 6 months of hire.
Certifications:Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 90 days after hire date.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
