IDR is seeking a Microsoft Project Service Administrator to join one of our top clients in Goleta, CA. This is a Contract position. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Microsoft Project Service Administrator:
- Configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting Project Server and Project Online environments to meet the unique project management needs of our client
- Creating and maintaining data structures in Project Server Reporting database
- Working with project management methodologies and tools
- Prioritizing tasks effectively and working independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of our client’s team
Required Skills for Microsoft Project Service Administrator:
- 3-4 years experience configuring and implementing Microsoft Project Server and Project Online systems (PWA on premises and online)
- Experience with SQL Server, SharePoint, Project Server Reporting Services (integrated mode) and other related technologies
- Proficiency in configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting Project Server/Project Online (e.g., timesheets, permission levels, project key information)
- Competency in MS Project Online workflow or third-party workflow optimization / toolset like Power Automate or other system
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- SharePoint Online for Administrator training
- Microsoft Project Online For Administrators training
