Overview
Under the general supervision of the director of health services, plans, directs, and evaluates resident and employee health care in ambulatory health services.
*Minimum Education*
Masters of Science in Nursing degree required.
Current approval by the joint Board of Medical Examiners and Board of Nursing to perform medical acts. Must be currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state. Because of the nature of responsibilities, it is preferable to have experience in counseling and teaching and have a master’s degree.
*Minimum Work Experience*
One year minimum of nurse practitioner experience preferred.
*Required Skills*
Strong written and oral communication skills.
*Required Licenses*
Current Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the state.
