Overview
Duties:
Nurse Tech performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by a RN, including monitoring vital signs, and recording intake and output. This position will assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation. The tech with report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
Additional Duties:
Assists with keeping patients rooms and common areas stocked, cleaned, and orderly.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross Certification: Basic Life Support required upon hire or must obtain within 90 days of employment.
Six months to one year experience in medical-surgical setting or other acute care setting preferred.
