**Description**
**Nurse Technician – Externs at Kadlec Regional Medical Center**
Under the direction of an RN, Unit Manager, Lead Nurse, or designee, observes and participates in a variety of clinical experiences to assist professional nursing personnel in providing indirect/direct patient care in an assigned area. Performs related duties as assigned.

**Shift Details:** On-call/Per diem, Variable shift
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Once hired into the position, must maintain current enrollment in accredited ADN or BSN program, remain in good standing, and maintain a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
+ One quarter or semester of clinical rotations must be completed before date of hire into the position.
+ upon hire: Washington Nursing Technician Registration.
+ upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Coursework/Training Four quarters or two semesters of clinical rotations must be completed before date of hire into the position.
