Overview

Job Summary:

* Performs a variety of preparation, distribution, and sanitation functions in support of assigned areas.
* Full-time, 40 hours/week

Job Duties:

* Assists with preparing food and beverages for distribution to patients, guests, service/dining areas, and catering services.
* Stores food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies andprocedures.
* Assists with customer-facing duties as assigned, including tray delivery and catering special events.
* Assists with sanitation duties, including dishwashing and maintaining work and food service areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.

Job Requirements:

* Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
* Minimum Work ExperienceExperience in cafeteria or hospital food service desirable
