Starr RegionalHealth and Rehabiscurrently seeking talent to fill the position ofCertifiedOccupational Therapy Assistantfor ourNursing HomeDepartment.This job is permanent,PRN.
Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:
* Assesses patient’s ability tosafely and effectively perform occupational skills. Designs theappropriate planof care, including type and frequency of treatment.
* Implements the treatment plan usingappropriate modalities.
* Documents subjective and objective findings of patient progress. Monitors andmodifiesthe plan of care as needed. Seeksconsultationas necessary.
* Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
* Plans and/orassistswith patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting. Provides information regardingappropriate selection/useof adaptive equipment and support programs.

Minimum EducationAssociate’s of Science degree in Occupational Therapy or higher: â–¡ Preferred X Required
Required Licenses[Tennessee, United States] Occupational Therapy Assistant and Aide
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the State of Tennesseeâ–¡ Preferred X Required
Required SkillsCertifications:The below certifications will be required at the time of hire:X Basic Life Support (BLS)
