Overview
Responsible for the coordination of the Materials Management functions throughout surgery, CVL and Open Heart departments with regard to procurement and distribution of materials and services. These functions should meet or exceed requirements of the hospital.
Minimum EducationHigh School Degree or GED.
Minimum Work ExperienceExperience of 1 year in a Surgery setting or Materials Tech I position.Experience in Materials Management in the healthcare environment is preferred.
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
