Coders that have exp in coding ER coding
AHIMA or AAPC ok
Minimum Education
• High School graduate or equivalent.
Required Skills/Certification:
• Current RHIT, CPC, or CCA certification.
• Knowledge of diagnoses/procedures in accordance with ICD-10-CM and CPT coding principles for Ambulatory Surgery Center preferred.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Minimum Work Experience• Two years experience in billing, insurance, office procedures in a medical setting preferred.
