Overview
**Description**
This position will be working four 10 hour shifts a week to support the Transitional and Extended Care facilities.
This position is responsible for providing safe transportation to residents in a timely, competent manner, and for communicating important information relevant to the overall care plan to the multidisciplinary team. The position is critical to setting the tone and desired experience that Providence Extended Care and Providence Transitional Care Center expects for each participant on outings and other appointments.

**Required qualifications:**
+ Driving is necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses within 90 days of hire
