**Department Details**

This position is in the Children’s Radiology Department.

The schedule is 40hrs PT working one week on/ one week off from 8a-4:30p

**Job Summary**

Responsible for serving as the main point of contact for patients and families navigating through Outpatient Radiology procedures, as well as the Inpatient Children’s Hospital population at Sanford Health. Functions as a resource and professional liaison with internal departments and external agencies to promote the primary goal of optimal care to the Outpatient procedural and Inpatient Children’s Hospital population. Serves as in information relay between staff and families and helps families navigate through the building as indicated. Must be able to work with growth and development needs of unique client populations.

Must demonstrate independence, assertiveness and critical thinking when working with patients and co-workers. The procedural liaison has the ability to document clearly, the ability to solve problems and is self motivated. Works independently with self direction. Must be able to establish priorities, have strong flexibility and organizational skills.

Additional Job Description

This role is part-time, the schedule for this position would be working a 1 week on, one week off pattern. During the week on of work, it would be 40 hours.

High school diploma or its equivalent.

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary is required.
