Overview
Patient Sitter is responsible for specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs of the patient under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. This is a PRN / as needed position. Must be willing to take call.

Duties
· Monitors high risk patients.
· Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
· Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN.
· Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas clean and orderly.
· Must be able to sit for long periods of time
· Must be able to manage high risk patients
· Must be available to be on call days, nights, weekends and holidays
