*_Position Summary:_*
Under supervision of an RN, the sitter provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients identified as safety risks. The sitter assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment.
*_Training and Continued Education_***
Opportunities for further education and training are available to our employees.
*_Minimum Education_*
* High School Graduate or Equivalent required or 1-year verifiable sitter experience (in lieu of education).
*_Required Skills_*
* Verbal and written ability to communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team.
* Maintains harmonious relationships with nursing personnel, medical staff, hospital administration, and other hospital departments.
* Ability to handle stress in a positive manner.
* Shows interest in job and is dependable to complete job duties.
