Are you looking for a shorter commute or work for a smaller company? This job is perfect for you! Our client in North Brunswick, New Jersey is seeking a Payment Processing Clerk. Process Lockbox remittance at a high level of accuracy and efficiency. 

Description:

  • Sort, open, organize, process and input Lockbox remittance with high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Package processed remittance for client and/or bank delivery
  • Ensure accounts are consistently processed according to client specifications
  • Maintain established production and accuracy standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Site Manager
  • Must be flexible for other duties as assigned: As an associate you may be required to cross-train across roles with similar job duties, or assist with other business needs as required

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of payment processing experience -OR- lockbox experience -OR- experience working for a financial institution -OR- experience working at a HIPAA compliant facility
  • High volume data entry
  • 2+ years of banking experience is a “plus”
  • Ability to work in fast paced, high productivity and deadline-oriented environment
  • Requires the ability to read and follow instructions
  • Ability to work under limited supervision
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be proficient using 10-key pad
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • High school diploma required
  • Background check required
  • Drug screening required

Job Type: Full-time, no more than 40 per week
Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour
