*What you’ll do:*

As a*Payroll**Specialist,*you willsupport the Health Support Center (HSC) Human Resources Department by responding to and managing HSC employee requests and providing direction and guidance in payroll system functionality to HSC and Facilities, and employee relations support.

*Responsibilities:*

Act as subject matter expert for HSC and facility payroll system users by managing the administration of the Human Resources Information System and providing support for requisition, payroll processing, compliance, and tax reporting, employee maintenance functions and system functionality.

Prepare and process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for employees.

Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolve discrepancies.

Perform services with accuracy and proficiency.

Respond to Service Now request

Provide operational support for specific special projects in assigned area of expertise

Maintain an awareness and currency of Human Resources principles, practices and related regulatory environment.

Regular and reliable attendance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

*Education*: HS Diploma or GED equivalent required

*Experience:* 1 year of payroll experience required
