**Department Details**
This position is a clinical role in which we will train you how to provide patient care in the pedorthic scope of practice. Our ideal candidate would have some experience in the medical field either in work history or in education, either one is acceptable.
**Job Summary**
Responsible to manage the comprehensive pedorthic patient care under the direction of a physician’s prescription. This includes patient assessment as well as the formulation and implementation of a treatment plan. Specializing in using footwear, including shoes, shoe modifications, foot orthoses and other pedorthic devices to resolve patient’s problems in, or related to, the foot and lower limb.
Demonstrates professionalism and experience specifically to manage comprehensive pedorthic patient care in the areas of fitting, fabricating, adjusting, or modifying devices for the patient’s needs.
**Qualifications**
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Patient care experience preferred.
Possess a valid Class D driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
