Overview
Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist.
Minimum EducationHigh School diploma or the equivalent required.
Required LicensesPharmacy Technician
Current certificate from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or National Health career Association.
Required SkillsRegistration with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within thirty (30) days of employment.
Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education, experience or subsequent training.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Minimum Work ExperienceThree (3) years hospital pharmacy experience required.
