Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking talent to fill the position ofPharmacy Technician / Pharmacy Assistantfor our PharmacyDepartment. This job is permanent,PRN.

* Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
* Fills medication carts on a daily basis.
* Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
* Repackages bulk medications.

*Minimum Education*
High school diploma or equivalent: â–¡ Preferred X Required
Completion of Pharmacy Tech Program: X Preferred â–¡ Required
*Required Licenses*
Pharmacy Technician
Current Pharmacy Technician License in State of Tennessee OR for newly applying technicians, the employee has 30 days to allow for state license processing.
Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA OR for newly hired certified technicians, the employee has 30 days to provide official proof of certification.
