Collects and processes blood specimens and other specimens for testing in the laboratory. Uses the laboratory information system to register patients and enter test orders,

*Minimum Education*
Graduate of a program in Phlebotomy required
*Required Skills*
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
*Required Licensure/Certification*
Licenses: Valid driver’s license and transportation to use on the job
*Minimum Education*
Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations; laboratory tests and how to collect appropriate specimens; knowledge of computers, keyboard, and various pieces of office equipment
