Overview

JOB SUMMARY

  • Evaluates, plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team. Delegates and monitors the work of licensed physical therapist assistants, technicians, and other support staff. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum Work Experience
  • No previous experience
  • Required Licenses/Certifications
  • License to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Texas or eligible for licensure.
  • BLS – should not initiate patient contact until completed.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License required only for individuals identified as HMC Designated Drivers per policy. 
  • Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Input data into computer programs.
  • Familiar with rehabilitation equipment.
