Overview
**Description**
The practice of physical therapy shall include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, education, communication and demonstration of leadership to address the needs of patients and their families. Requires limited supervision. The majority of the patient care will be performed in an inpatient hospital setting.

**Required qualifications:**
+ Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
+ New Mexico Physical Therapist License – New Mexico Physical Therapy Board upon hire or
+ Texas Physical Therapist License upon hire
+ National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Neonatal Therapist: Degree from accredited program.
+ 1 year of Experience in rehabilitation.
