Starr RegionalHealth and Rehabiscurrently seeking talent to fill the position ofPhysical Therapy Assistant for ourNursing HomeDepartment.This job is permanent,PRN.
Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:
* Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist usingappropriate modalities.Seeksconsultationas necessary.
* Monitors patient’s responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress andpossible goalrevisions to the physical therapist.
* Documentsservices provided and patient response/progress.
* Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
* Assistswith patient discharge planning. Provides information regardingappropriate selection/useof adaptive equipment and community support programs.

Minimum EducationAssociate’s of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapy: □ Preferred X Required
