Overview
Under the supervision of a physician, provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services to patients in an assigned area/service.
Reports to: Director of Physician Practices
*Required Skills*
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Must possess Controlled Substance Registration Certificate from the United States Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration prior to the first day of seeing patients.
*Required Certifications/Licenses*

and in good standing with the Board of Health Professions.
Certifications:
â–¡ Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
*Minimum Work Experience*
Prefer previous experience in a clinic setting.
Previous experience with Athena and Meditech is strongly preferred.
